My second...Oct 09, 2009 I love these shelves. I bought a second to match the first. They hold up so well, are very sturdy, and withstand getting moved multiple times.

Great product, Great price!Apr 08, 2009 After making three or four trips around my area to malls and superstores seeking just the right small shelf, I ordered this Mission shelf. The natural color over maple, etc. proved to match my decor, plus the open back allows me to plug my radio into the outlet.
When the box arrived all I had to do was carefully slit the tape, found the smallest end (the top) and lifted it out of the box. The shelves fell into place when I opened the winged sides. What a nice buy!
I love this shelving unit.

Good buy if you are up for a little bit of fixingDec 29, 2007 For the money in a folding bookcase, it is a good buy provided you are ready to do a little work on the bookcase.
I bought two of these. To my surprise, even though it was Christmas season and delivery demand must have been significant, they came in just a few days. The boxes were beat up so I was worried that they might be damaged. They were not damaged by the delivery.
They were damaged in that their assembly was faulty, seriously faulty. Almost all of the mating parts were out of alignment. One of the vertical structural elements had a sizable crack but the crack did not go through to the opposite side, the external side.
After thinking about what to do for a while, I decided to call Target the seller of the items. The response there was that Amazon was where I needed to go. Been there and done that... I knew it was pack them up again and return them or take the risk and fix them myself. After diddling around about it for a day, I decided to fix them myself. It wasn't difficult, just risky and time consuming. Risky, because if I goofed they weren't going to be returnable. Time consuming because it was mostly twiddly-fiddly work that took a few minutes for each match of components.
They have worked out ok. I am happy with them after my fixes. But of course, nobody should have to fix the bookcases in the first place.

Best bookcases ever madeDec 17, 2007 We live in a mobile home, and this is fantastic - in use it is VERY sturdy, and when you need to put it away, it folds up for easy storage. We run a book business out of our home and we have 6 of these. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
