Watches weight wellJun 25, 2010 The Weight Watchers WW43 Memory Glass Electronic Scale meets all expectations. It's accuracy and record keeping is superb. Its looks and lines are extraordinary. They compel wanting to weigh and loose weight. While somewhat expensive the scale is well worth the investment - its supports the new look working to have.
Received defective scale and sent backJun 15, 2010 I read the reviews and thought this might be a suitable scale but I couldn't get it to work and returned it the next day. The scale came on, the settings worked, but I when I stepped on to weigh it gave me an ERR message. Now the instructions say that only happens if you weigh 380 lbs. Trust me, I'm no where near that. I spent quite a while trying to get it to work and finally gave up.
While I was disappointed, I decided to opt for a more expensive scale that would provide the weight in tenths the way I needed. I replaced this with a Health-o-meter digital scale and it works perfectly.
Quick and easyJun 12, 2010 I don't think it gets any easier. Open it, put in the battery and it's ready for me to weigh myself. I find that the backlight is very useful.
Scale reviewJun 06, 2010 I'm Mary and bought this scale using my husband's Amazon account. I really hate this scale! I've never actually hated a bathroom scale. Usually, I'd just tuck them under my clothes in the closet and then pull them out for encouragement from time to time. This one, however, forced me to go on a diet and start exercising. It's brutally honest! It measures in 10th of a pound and promptly tells me when I've been cheating or gotten lazy. Also, the darn thing won't give my weight until I get my hand off the table or until I'm "balanced." My husband, a Type 2 diabetic, has lowered his blood sugar and revisited his high school senior weight since he began weighing in every day. To make matters even worse, the darn thing agrees with the doctor's scale. My old scale always weighed me 8 pounds less than the doctor's. Well, that's about it..... If the darn thing didn't look so chic I'd shove it back in the closet. Think twice before you buy this machine, it's a real nag. If you choose this scale, you too might find yourself having to deal with what you put in your mouth....without fail, the scale will let you know.
scale backMay 24, 2010 scale was advertised as new but not in a original carton. True it was not in the original carton and that was ok with me. How ever it was not new. Upon inspection, the underside rubber legs showed signs of wear, there were very small white hairs stuck to the legs along with ingrained dirt particles. All of the above reveals to me that the scale was used, NOT new. :o((
